[I really liked this village a lot, good memories, and gladly kept a travel diary, will tell some stories about that. in some follow-up nft-pix 'n data on 01] .
[I started to travel alone at a pretty young age 13, or with my older brother (1.5 years older) like in 1983 we would cycle from the netherlands to belgium and then to the uk; dover. looking for fossils, walking around the streets of london by myself; seeing break-dancers for the first time =___=, same age, I would start to hitchhike around the netherlands. around the age of 15/16 I would hitchhike all around europe by myself] . [sleeping rough on the streets; mostly I would climb on top of a roof, to crash for the night, and out of sight of muggers or people that would hassle you]
[my parents gave us this kind of freedom, since my mother had a fragile health, and they found it important, we would be independent, self-supporting and managing ourself, since a young age] .
[I was really glad that in 1991 I could travel and meet up with my brother again, that lived in indonesia for a while, then explored different islands around indonesia, traveling cheap by cargo ships] . [lol.. had to tell the locals, I was not uber-rich. I would tell them, instead of that fancy moped they got; (that would go bust soon or later), I saved up to buy a plane ticket.. since travels and those memories go for a life-time]
