Description
Aaron Huey, PERIMETER 045 (green barrier), 5000 × 2008, 2022. From a series of performances made at the edges of the metaverse(s). Born out of a National Geographic magazine assignment to explore the far edges of virtual worlds, bringing back photographs made with virtual cameras. Edges eveloved as I found thet some worlds had barriers and no way to jump off the edge. And an even stranger in-between when sections of worlds could not load or had not loaded and I could pass through the semi-invisible barrier/edge that protected/demarcated that property. This barrier was inside Somnium.
