Description
The relationship between humans and sharks is historically complicated. Sharks are powerful, beautiful animals that mean us no harm, yet fear of them is stoked and sensationalized in the media. I have been fascinated with sharks since my childhood. SHARKS IN THE MACHINE - a new project one year in the making, is a series of 100 digital works with only one theoretically conceptual question in mind: “If a thousand humans could describe sharks to an intelligent machine - could a machine representationally interpret irrational fear?”
