"Does my autistic mind produce corrupted data?" is an exploration of the intersection of self-discovery, neurological diversity, and the paradoxes of social expectations through a series of photographs. This series is created from a unique blend of digital corruption and artist insight following an adult level 1 autism diagnosis. The series begins with a sense of digital turmoil, as digital camera RAW files intended for clear representation are unexpectedly corrupted during import. The resulting images, which were ironically photographs of memes engraved in white marble, become a metaphorical canvas on which the photographer's journey is painted. The series invites viewers to reflect on the concept of "environment" and "adaptation". Prior to diagnosis, neuroatypical people feel that they do not quite fit in with social expectations and norms. The artist's path is marked by uncertainty, by the feeling of "making mistakes" and not aligning with stereotyped social representations and then, through a path of awareness during the post diagnosis, comes the understanding that neurological diversity is not a corruption but but a uniqueness. and precious heritage of human biodiversity Through these corrupted files, viewers are invited to reflect on the subject of neurodivergence. Just as corrupted data challenges our conventional expectations of visual representation, the artist challenges preconceived notions of neurodiversity and human interaction. The choice of colors take a cue from Joseph Albers' pioneering work on color interactions, adding a level of depth and reflection to the series. The deliberate play of hues, inspired by Albers' 1967 "White Line Squares (set of 8 ads)" underscores the idea that, just as colors reveal their true beauty in relation to each other, human relationships should be based on respect and acceptance of different cognitive functions.
