Description
An image of a hard drive run through DreamStudio SDXL v1.0 at 40% image strength. I love how traces of the original image are still present, but the mechanism has become something new. An analogy for how our experiences change us until we become something new. We can still "sort of" follow how the mechanism "works," but the parts are different, and uses no longer make sense.
The transformation of the machine through image processing is similar to how experiences change us over time. Technology is used as a metaphor for human growth and transformation. Our experiences shape and help us function and adapt in new ways. The analogy extends to the idea of searching for connections and trying to make sense of the paths we take in life, much like how one might trace a machine's workings to understand it.
